Sustainability
I do very much believe in the theory that ‘every little bit helps’, as when everyone does ‘a little bit’, it amounts to a large positive impact.
Running a sustainable business is my top priority, that is why:
Packaging is mostly card and I only use acid free tissue paper.
Boxes are recyclable or reusable.
I repair my tools and use pre owned tools when possible.
Part of my business is repurposing unused jewellery into contemporary pieces for clients.
I offer a service to recycle your silver and gold for re use.
Items are mostly made to order therefore limiting waste or surplus stock.
I try to use recycled precious metals when possible as this can cut down CO2 emissions by 2/3rds compared to mined metals, is better for the environment and reduces environmental impact such as water usage and transport.
We are part of a family endeavour to plant sapling trees on the edge of a working farm in Gloucestershire. We have helped plant over 50 trees and continue to do so. Should you wish to donate a tree to be planted, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
