Cut a strip of paper no wider than 1 cm.
Place it around the correct finger.
Mark the point on the paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle.
Lay out the paper & measure the length from the starting end of the paper to the mark.
Use the chart below to see your UK ring size.
Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are larger and make sure you can slide the sizer over your knuckle.
Please note that the thicker the ring the tighter the fit so you might need to increase your size depending on your ring design.

Gold vs. Silver
Gold and Silver prices change, literally, every day.
In October 2020 the price of gold was worth approx 76 times more than silver. (Yes, really!) I will try to update this figure as much as possible to keep the figures relatively accurate.
Is it better to have a 9 carat gold ring or 24 carat - well basically- the higher the carat the more gold content is in the ring so the more expensive the item is. So a 24 carat ring will have the most gold content possible 24/24 or 999 fineness) and little other metals such as copper or silver. However, this also means that the 24 carat item is a ‘softer’ piece than the 9 carat piece, as the 9 carat has more silver and zinc content, so is harder and lasts longer but tarnishes more quickly! (Phew, glad that question is over!) Yes, it’s all your personal preference really. Some people like to know that they have the purest gold and it will hold its monetary value and others want a sturdier item and are happier with a smaller budget.
When choosing you carat, bear in mind that you don’t see the carat and all your jewellery will look fabulous.
Should I have a silver or gold ring?
Whatever precious metal you choose it will look great so consider the style & look of the piece you fancy and your budget.
FAQ’s
Will my jewellery tarnish?
Cleaning: Many people suggest you do not wear your jewellery in the shower, pool, gym, whilst swimming, cycling, dancing… I say wear It, whenever you fancy!- my jewellery is made to be worn, so just clean it with your polishing cloth (my gift to you) and your piece will always look fabulous.
If you are not wearing your jewellery, then do try to keep it in an airtight container to reduce natural tarnishing which occurs when precious metals react with gases in the air.
Caring: place your piece flat on the special cleaning cloth and rub all areas to remove any tarnish. Turn your piece over and repeat, being careful not to catch prongs or thin pieces of wire.
