My client needed a very specific piece mounted in silver and remade from their family unworn jewellery pieces, then hallmarked . We worked closely to make sure their precious pieces could be treasured, worn and re purposed.
Friendship Pendant
The idea here was to create a piece for my client and her friends to compliment their original pendant created for them some ten years ago. We discussed backing plates and shapes that would look suitable to hold and support the original flower. The lower silver flowers represent the three friends and the mottled look keeps the piece looking in form with the original and not like an added extra. We stamped each friends initials on the reverse of the piece and some personal numbers to represent 60 years and friendship. The twisted jump ring compliments the overall design.
